Senior adult oncology study day
About the event
Cancer is a disease of ageing, and its management may be more complex in older individuals.
This study day will aim to discuss the rationale for an integrated and comprehensive oncogeriatric care approach for older adults diagnosed with cancer and how this can be implemented in various settings and highlight the role of multiple professions to optimize outcomes for this population. The study day will draw on expertise from our patients as well as colleagues from medical, nursing, allied healthcare and pharmacy professions, along with specialists in medical oncology, palliative care and psychology.
